AT&T talking to Google about upcoming Android phone

AT&T talking to Google

Ralph de la Vega, the president and CEO, AT&T, discussed their company’s plan to produce Android based smartphones in collaboration with Google. He revealed that following the discussion with Google team behind the platform, he was convinced that one day AT&T would include Android handsets in its range.

Google’s has not limited Android OS to its own suit of mobile applications as it allow developers at add, edit or replace the apps. This is what all manufacturers and carriers like about Android.

“What I’m saying is I like it a lot more than before … We’re now looking to see when it’s ready to be developed. Now I’m in the camp where I’m positive that it’s something I’d want in our portfolio”, said Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T.
