Five is a media distribution system designed for efficient transmission of content from one or more centralized locations, specifically dealing with content not well-suited for general publication due to various restrictions, most notably copyright. This implementation specifically targets the music application, however the system could and will be extended to support other content such as video and images.

Additionally, I envision Five being extended to desktop environments. This would permit, for example, accessing your home music collection while at work or from your laptop wherever you go.
