There is a bad news for everyone who are expecting to get HTC’s new Sense UI on their Magic or G1. Devices that are branded as “with Google”, such as the T-Mobile G1 or the Vodafone Magic, will not get the upgrade due to licensing issues.
This confirmation from HTC especially affects those who bought their devices through carriers. Representatives from HTC have said that HTC is trying to find a way to get the new Sense UI to non Google branded phones, but nothing is guaranteed yet.
Sadly it means that the buyers of T-Mobile myTouch 3G would not get Sense UI since it is a “with Google” branded handset.
