Acer have finally announced its very first Android handset, Acer Liquid A1. This is the first Android device to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz chipset. It has a 800 x 480 WVGA capacitive touchscreen, along with a 5 mp camera.
This set has some unique features, developed by Acer and its partners, includes:
* Improved power management to help achieve longer battery autonomy.
* An optimized camera with ISO, geo-tagging, accelerated auto-focus performance and self-timer options.
* It has a new user interface with easy access to web bookmarks and entertainment.
* It has smart integration of Flickr™, Youtube™, Picasa™, Facebook™ and Twitter™ in its address book.
* Exclusive Spinlets™ appl that provides free streaming of worldwide video and music, which you can share with family and friends through or e-mail web-posting.
Acer Liquid A1 will be available in three colors- red, white and black.. Later today we are expecting more details about this device. According to rumors, this device may launch in November but three has been no official word from Acer yet, even the price is not revealed.
