Dell confirms Android-powered tablet device

Can you recall the Dell Android MID rumored to be hitting AT&T?  Dell has finally confirmed it today – although they do not call the device MID, but tablet, and they do not say it is for AT&T.

Dell has presented some renderings of the tab but too many details about the device is not revealed. They are only saying that it is a “5-inch tablet concept”, along with a 5MP camera. The gadget will probably hit the market this year.

Since the Dell tab has a slot for SIM card, it could really be launched by AT&T, especially when the company has confirmed recently that its Dell Mini 3 Android phone is also heading to the second largest US carrier.

Here are the official renderings of the tab:

This device looks awesome. Everything from the design to the camera looks like it they were designed with lots of thought. Hopefully Dell delivers with this one.
