Google Goggles seemed superb at the time when it was first announced. Many thought that it could perform visual searches, on things that they do not recognize, was intriguing and it may revolutionize the way people discover information. Google Goggles might still do that someday, but not now.
The official demo video of Goggles suggests that scanning a business card will allow this application to scan the text and add that person to a handsets’s contacts list. Nice in theory, but real world tests of the app are not as smooth.
Despite the catchy features that Goggles promise, it do not live up to the hype at this point of time.
