HTC have released new firmware for the HTC Hero, orange version. The software, v 2.73.61.66 for Orange, is available to download from HTC’s support website. However it looks highly unlikely to be the anticipated Android 2.1 firmware update.
The old ROM for the Orange version of the Hero was 2.73.61.5, that means this is likely a very minor update. HTC have not indicated any particular change.
