The Orkut application got lost in all the hype surrounding the newly released Google Buzz widget and the update to Maps. This app is another social networking type application which allows you to share things with your Orkut friends.
Orkut includes friends live folders that allows you to add your friends to it right from the home screen. Once your friends are there you can communicate via scrap, call or SMS with your friends in just a single click. You can add this widget just like any other widget on Android. Notifications in Orkut are known as scraps. The time you receive a message via Orkut and click on it you are sent to your scrapbook page. You can also share photos in this application.
