Few people may not like until Google’s Nexus One runs on Verizon’s CDMA network. HTC have begun shipping CDMA versions to Verizon, as they are prepare to launch this month or April, according to a report in a Chinese newspaper.

This device is expected to offer exactly the same functions as the existing GSM Nexus One. It will only replace the UMTS/HSPA modem with a CDMA version. It isn’t expected to add both CDMA and UMTS/HSPA connectivity for worldwide roaming usage.
This newspaper also suggested that HTC will ship the GSM version of the Nexus One to the European carrier Vodafone very soon.
