All Samsung Galaxy S variants to receive Android 2.2 Froyo

Samsung is launching a Samsung Galaxy S device on almost every network in United States. With T-Mobile getting Vibrant, Verizon Fascinate, AT&T Captivate, Sprint Epic 4G and regional operators like US Cellular and Cellular South their own versions.

However, all the devices with be sporting Android 2.1 when available, but Samsung today promised that all the Galaxy S phones are upgradable to Android 2.2 in the future.
