Froyo for Samsung Galaxy S leaked
Posted by admin in Android News, tags: Android 2.2, android os, android phone, Froyo, Samsung, Samsung Galaxy SThose of you with Samsung’s newest Android baby should be pleased to know that a leaked Froyo build (designated I9000XXJP1) will be making its way onto the Galaxy S i9000 at 12:00 Amsterdam time (3:00 am Pacific time). This is a great first step in getting it set up on the American variants of the Galaxy S handsets.

In even better news, the build in question is official and supports plenty of languages to ensure that plenty of people have access to it. The full language list includes Bulgarian, Cestina, Dansk, Deutsch (3), English (6), Espanol, Francais (2), Hrvatski, Italiano, Latvian, Lithuanian, Magyar, Nederlands (2), Polski, Portugues, Romana, Slovencina, Slovenian, Suomi, Svenska, Turkce, Russian, and Chinese. The leaker who reported this information said that the firmware is fast, but not quite as fast as the official build that’s supposedly due out later this year around September.
So what about you? Planning on getting a little Froyo love for your Galaxy S? Let us know in the comments!
