We reported yesterday that a Samsung employee tweeted about optimization software being tested to solve the Samsung Galaxy S navigation problems. Samsung decided they needed to be official about it, and replied with a tweet from the official Samsung Twitter account.

The present state of GPS in this device is bleak, with things such as navigation and Google Maps rendered essentially useless indoors or in dense, urban areas. For all the Galaxy S owners, help is on the way.
