The Samsung Galaxy Spica historically has no multitouch capabilities, which is a drawback for it’s users. You may guess that this is simply because of the screen that Samsung choose. Well, then be prepared to get a shocke as this is not the case. It is, in fact, a support issue from the company itself. Samsung seem to have chosen not to include multitouch facility on this device for some unknown reason.

Luckily for Spica users, some hackers have got this issue fixed. They have created some kind of drivers that are making their way on to homebrew Spica ROM’s.
This is similar to G1/HTC Dream when a hacker improve this device by adding multitouch, two years ago.
