Like most people, I am not a big fan of online advertising that gets in the way. I especially hate the types of ads that pop up on screen when you try to click through to content you want to read. I can understand that ads are needed to make the money to support a site, but I don’t have to like them.

The Caltroid application is a simple Caltrain schedule app for Android. Two buttons determine the day of the week and direction of travel, with spinners allowing the user to select specific departure and destination stations.

Caltroid also has the ability to locate the nearest Caltrain station using GPS.

TooDo, as you might guess is a feature rich ‘reminder’ application. Basically it allows the user to manage and smartly remind themselves of the various day-to-day tasks they need to complete.

TooDo has many different options and settings to set reminders by, including time based reminders, location based and contextually based (basis the reminder on details of your current task, eg, travel and work).

Protobot is a full screen image viewer application that allows you to quickly and easily demo an application idea or GUI concept on the Android emulator, or a device running the Android OS.

Protobot allows you to display prebuilt GUI slides, built in an application such as Adobe Photoshop and exported as a PNG or JPG.
