Like most people, I am not a big fan of online advertising that gets in the way. I especially hate the types of ads that pop up on screen when you try to click through to content you want to read. The Caltroid application is a simple Caltrain schedule app for Android. Two buttons determine the day of the week and direction of travel, with spinners allowing the user to select specific departure and destination stations.

Caltroid also has the ability to locate the nearest Caltrain station using GPS.

TooDo, as you might guess is a feature rich ‘reminder’ application. Basically it allows the user to manage and smartly remind themselves of the various day-to-day tasks they need to complete.
