The Dell Aero will be shipping on AT&T for $99 on contract, $299 without one. The Aero is basically a smaller version of AT&T’s Dell Streak, featuring a similar user-interface as the 5-inch slate. The Aero is being advertised as one of the lightest Android phones to date, so if you don’t like the huge Dell Streak, check out the product page for the Aero here.

So, do you like the Samsung Vibrant but want to remain on your AT&T contract? Or does the Captivate tickle your fancy but you have a T-Mobile contract instead? Well, now you can unlock your Galaxy S thanks to the folks over at XDA-Developers, who discovered that the Galaxy S unlock codes are stored right on the phones themselves. The code is stored on a .BAK file, and can be accessed with a hex editor and keyed in when inserting the SIM card of the carrier you would like to use.

Hey, remember Sony’s new phone, the XPERIA X10? Yea, we thought you forgot. That’s okay, though, because it looks like it’s back in the news with a vengeance. It appears that the X10 has gone through AT&T’s technical acceptance, meaning it is on it’s way. Rumors speculate that it should, at this rate, be available in the coming weeks. While there isn’t an official – or even rumored – price here in the states for it, we can see this little guy coming in at between $149 – $199 after a two year contract.

By now you’ve probably read plenty about it, and if what you’ve read has convinced you that the Samsung Captivate is the phone for you, you’ll be glad to hear that AT&T is now offering the Samsung Captivate, and you’ll be able to pick it up for $199.99 bundled with the mandatory two-year contract, or $499 if you don’t want to be tied to one (which is slightly higher than the originally reported $349 price tag). Let’s face it. Thus far, AT&T’s choices of Android devices have been slim. But, according to an anonymous source, it looks like they may be getting another soon: the Motorola Flipout. According to a tipster, it will be chugging along with Android 2.1, and most likely the same new Motoblur as the Charm, and may also have Yahoo set as the browser default, like it’s equally acrobatic sibling, the Motorola Backflip. As a side note, it is entirely possible (even likely) that AT&T will also keep this device from loading third-party apps, considering they have done it with every other Android device on their network. Here’s to hoping they won’t.

There’s a point where marketing takes a turn that no one expects. Sure, we can bet that a company will go all-out for a phone they think is going to be a huge hit. And then there’s another way to get your point across. Almost subliminally, in fact. Take, for example, this short testing video made by AT&T. In it, amongst some other information that will probably be only interesting to a few out there, you’ll get your first glimpse of the HTC Liberty.
