Dell confirm Mini 5 AT&T connection, Android Market access & more

The hopes of some users for this to land on T-Mobile has been squashed (for now). Dell are in talks with AT&T to offer the Mini 5 on their network possibly subsidized. The Mini 5 will indeed be compatible with the Android Market and there is a strong possibility for future Dell tablets to choose resistive screens over capacitive.

Dell Mini 5 to be first of “family of tablets”

Eciting news from the makers of the Mini 5, Dell. Wired has the scoop straight from Neeraj Choubey, GM of Dell’s tablet division, that there will be “a family of tablets” which will “scale up to a variety of sizes.” So it seems the Mini5 will not be alone.

Dell Mini 5 docking station with HDMI port spotted in bizarre Greek video

Accessories for this MID is already starting to surface even though the phone has not been announced officially for any carrier. The launch date isn’t even set, Dell seems to have more tricks up their sleeve for this device. The dock looks interesting but there is not much information on it.

Michael Dell shows off the Mini 5, confirms US arrival?

This device is really sexy. It’s a 5 inch mid that is releasing soon. Michael Dell briefly showed off the device to the reported and it looks very responsive for a device that probably is not even in a post production stage.

I must say I do like this a lot, although I am not in the market for a tablet. This is a welcome addition to Android and will l help catapult it to the forefront of the mobile os battle. The Android assault continues and there seems to be no let up in the onslaught of really good high end devices. Enjoy the video, he is keeping some aspects of the phone under wraps for now.
