Adobe, at the Flash Summit in San Francisco today, officially announced that Flash Player 10.1 for the Nexus One has lost that whole Beta tag, and is now officially, official. What’s even better, though, is that if you have a Nexus One, you can find your wait into the Android Market, seek out Flash Player 10.1 with just a quick search query, and get to downloading right now. When Google announced that their online phone store was going to the wayside, everyone’s immediate thought wasn’t about the store itself, but more about the device it was selling: the Nexus One. We had always heard Google say that they would be selling the device outside of their store, and when the store closed its doors they again said that carriers around the world would be selling the stock Android device. While that panned out, it didn’t show up in as many places as people would like (like at T-Mobile USA). But, if you’re still interested in buying it, you can, right from Google.

If you’re in Korea, you don’t have to wait for the official Froyo release. Google has decided to launch the Nexus One with Android 2.2 preinstalled. KT will be the launch partner with Google in this latest release of the Nexus One.

That didn’t take long at all, the Nexus One is starting to show up at retail stores. The lack of hands on experience and seeing the device in person is a big part of the slow sales of the first “super phone”. Google stated that this device will show up in brick and mortar stores but none of thought it would happen this soon.

Vodafone UK have put the Google Nexus One up for sale, and there’s no sign of the stock delay reported earlier this week. The launch marks the first time the Nexus One has been available through a UK carrier rather than demanding buyers import a device from Google in the US.

How is this possible? Looks like they’ve learned nothing from the recent Desire debacle where the phone keeps getting delayed due to them not having enough in stock. The Nexus One for Vodafone UK just got a release date of April 30th and it seems those devices are already gone.

According to initial rumors, the Nexus One should have been available via Vodafone since late January or early February. However, Google’s first phone is not ready yet for Voda.
And although there hasn’t been any official announcement about the exact release date of Nexus One via Vodafone, it looks like the carrier’s subscribers in the UK will be able to buy the smartphone starting April.

Earlier today we told you that it looks like Google is giving up on the 3G issues that have effected their nexus One smartphone, now it looks like there may be some good news for Nexus One owners in that they may get 802.11 N WiFi in Android 2.2.
It looks like Broadcom and Google have quietly released some new drivers for the Nexus One’s WiFi chipset that enable 802.11 WiFi, although this hasn’t been released as part of an update to Android.
