The G2 has been exposed for all the world to see. The guys over at Cell Phone Signal have brought upon us the first official pictures of the successor to the first Android phone. As you can see, the device looks a little bit like the Nexus One, but a little more squared off on the edges.

Those of you who have been patiently awaiting the return of the HTC Evo 4G to Sprint’s online store won’t have to wait much longer. Sprint has announced that the phone, which recently received its update to Android 2.2, will once again be available online sometime next week.

Ready to look at a nicely framed device that doesn’t quite yet have a name or release date? Good, because here it is. As you can probably already tell, it looks strikingly familiar. It definitely has the same lines as the EVO, the first 4G-capable device launched on Sprint a couple of months ago. But, it has that same brushed aluminum attractiveness that the Nexus One features, which makes it easily one of the most attractive devices not available right now.

Verizon has confirmed to us that the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the HTC Droid Incredible has begun going out today as an OTA update. The updated ROM will not only upgrade the Droid Incredible’s core OS but add in the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 together with 3G mobile hotspot functionality and add 720p HD video recording to the smartphone’s camera.

We’re big HTC Desire fans here at feelandroid, and so it comes as great news to hear that U.S. Cellular have finally got around to selling the smartphone in the US. Hitherto Europe/Asia only, the Desire is priced at $199.95 after a mail-in rebate and presuming a new, two-year agreement; it’s not available on prepaid plans.

As usual, there’s plenty of different handsets the Merge could be. It makes it hard to guess when we know about plenty of other devices heading to the market soon enough, and there’s just one out there, without any real defining feature list or images, that alludes us. This month, it’s the Merge. Manufactured by HTC, with a model number ADR6325, the Merge is a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

While we’re waiting for T-Mobile and HTC to actually officially announce the device, we’re seeing it pop up everywhere. Not only have we already seen what it looks like, now bold individuals out there can even play with the device’s ROM. The ROM in particular is meant for a test build of the G2, but it is running Android 2.2. And, from what we’ve heard from chatter around the ‘web, we’re hearing that it’s actually stock Android, without any User Interface skinning.

With the Motorola Droid 2 having launched with 2.2, and the original Motorola Droid having received at least two different OTA updates for Froyo over the last few weeks, there’s plenty of people out there wondering when the Droid Incredible, manufactured by HTC, will get the prodigal update. Considering other HTC devices featuring Sense UI, like Sprint’s EVO 4G, have already received their official update, people are beginning to scratch their head. And after plenty of other rumors, here’s a new one to whet your appetite for at least a little while.

A new Android device is headed to Europe, and it seems like it will be identical in almost every way to the upcoming T-Mobile G2. The phone is expected to include a 3.7 inch touchscreen, a 1GHz Snapdragon, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AGPS, QWERTY keyboard, and Android 2.1 running HTC Sense. One questionable feature is Android 2.1, which is strange considering HTC has already rolled out Froyo on the European EVO 4G and the HTC Desire. There is no word yet about the price, or who the carrier might be, so be sure to check back later for new details.

TATA DoCoMo has unveiled that the HTC Desire will be added to it’s ever growing Android portfolio in India. The phone will be available for Rs. 28,900 (about $620) across all HTC resellers across the nation. That may seem pretty steep, but keep in mind that it will be sold as an unlocked device with no strings attached (you can even use it on a pre-pay plan if you want).
