Telus, one of the leading Canadian telecom giants, has made an official announcement that they will soon be including the Motorola Milestone in their mobile device lineup. Looks like the Canucks will finally get their first device with 480×854 resolution.

The Droid-ish Milestone features an ultra-thin 13.7 mm design, 3.7-inch widescreen displau, pinch-zoom, a 5 megapixel flash-enabled camera, and turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

A concrete launch date hasn’t been released yet, but Motorola’s currently taking signups here for product updates.

Looks like Android 2.0 finally made it overseas. The MILESTONE, the brother to the DROID, has finally become available for purchase via Expansys. The retailer has an exclusive right to sell the device throughout December, so for right now this is the only way to get the phone, if you’ve been chomping at the bit waiting to get your hands on it.

Motorola have this week confirmed that their highly anticipated Android handset, the Motorola Milestone (aka the Motorola Droid), will be available in the UK from December 7th.

Apparently the handset will only be available from online retailer Expansys who are set to offer the handset exclusively in the UK priced at £449.99 for the sim-free version.

Motorola Canada have today announced the launch of their first Android powered handset, the Motorola Milestone.

The Motorola Milestone (aka the Motorola DROID), will be available from early 2010 exclusively to TELUS customers.

Thanks to some leaked screenshots of an O2 Germany business guide and device list, we now know that the GSM version of the Motorola Droid will be known as the Motorola Milestone, and will be available from November 9th.
