Gizmodo Brazil posted some new pictures of the Motorola Zeppelin which is likely headed to T-Mobile. Our sources confirmed the device has support for T-Mobile USA 3G bands and TmoNews is reporting a launch date of March 10, 2010.

Motorola Zeppelin

From what we can tell, this device is part of the CLIQ family of phones without a physical keyboard. It appears there are no additional features to make this device stand out above the rest and it will likely be a new entry-level Android phone for T-Mobile. No price point has been announced, but we would expect it to launch around $149 with 2 year agreement.

Obviously, I don’t think any current Android users would be upgrading to this phone, but it could make a nice device for the younger crowd who is obsessed with social networking.

The phone is supposed to launch with Motoblur powered by Android 1.5, but we expect Motorola will update it to Android 2.1 in Q2 2010.

Rumored specs of the Zeppelin include:

* Qualcomm MSM7201 528 MHz CPU
* 512 MB flash ROM, 256 MB RAM
* 3.1 inch capacitive display HVGA (480×320)
* 5 megapixel camera with autofocus
* WiFi 802.11 b/g, GPS, Bluetooth
* Android 1.5 with Motoblur

This is one of the most rumored Motorola phones to date. The initial rumors stated that it will have a 3.7″ WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, 720p HD video, and 550 MHz processor. Which turned out not to be completely true but that’s how some rumors turn out right? Since then reports have been circulating that Motorola has indeed verified that this phone is coming and here is the real picture of it.

As it stands now some of the new rumored specs has it fitted with a 3.2” screen, 5 megapixel camera, MotoBlur possibly running Blur/Android 2.1 mix. Tmonews thinks this phone will be in the T-Mobile lineup in March. I guess we just have to wait and see if this phone shows up at the Mobile World Congress, then we will have some solid specs and more information. Stay tuned.
