We were all waiting for it, even though it seemed like Motorola might not have any plans to release the Droid 2 outside of the United States. But thanks to an error on someone at Moto’s part, for but a brief moment an official promotional video for the Motorola Milestone 2 found its way to YouTube. The video was subsequently pulled, but not before someone could get a quick screen grab for posterity’s sake.

Don’t all you Motorola Charm users go at once and crash the servers, but the Universal Androot root method, has been said to be able to root your Motorola Charm perfectly, along with a lot of other Android handsets. Have a Droid X and want to port your screen over to your 50 inch HDTV with an HDMI cord? Well there is an app called Real HDMI that will allow you to do so. The quality appears to be really good for watching video on your TV. The application is in the Marketplace for is $1.99, and has some limitations, but it is a new app we so will allow room for improvements. Could this possibly be a low end Droid from Verizon? If so it will be different from any of Verizon’s other red eye robots. This portrait slider from Motorola appears to be on the low-end of the Android devices and it does favor the Palm Pre’ quite a bit.

The Canadian carrier Wind Mobile, has been rumored to be getting the Motorola Milestone XT720. The Milestone would be Wind’s most high-end device, and would only be the second Android handset available from the carrier. On top of that, they would be the first Canadian carrier to have the phone available.

That didn’t take long at all. Though, it’s not surprising, considering the hard work and dedication showcased every day by the Android developer community. And considering the Droid 2 is so similar to the Droid X, many were probably just counting down the days before they could get their brand new Droid device rooted. The wait is over, folks.

In true back-to-school-sale fashion, the newish T-Mobile Motorola Charm is available through the carrier for $75. The phone has seen a couple delays that got it’s date pushed back to today, but now it looks like they’re ready to make good on their promise.

Verizon, in true big-carrier fashion, has rolled out their first update to their Motorola DROID 2 phones via OTA. The major fixes (“major” being a bit of a stretch) include being able to scroll text and picture messages, but the huge disappointment here is that, according to reports, there haven’t been any resolutions to the signal issues that have been plaguing users since the initial launch.

The Motorola FlipOut is one of those devices you either love or hate. For you FlipOut lovers out there, here is a great video demo of the device in action.
