Adobe, at the Flash Summit in San Francisco today, officially announced that Flash Player 10.1 for the Nexus One has lost that whole Beta tag, and is now officially, official. What’s even better, though, is that if you have a Nexus One, you can find your wait into the Android Market, seek out Flash Player 10.1 with just a quick search query, and get to downloading right now. That is, if you haven’t already.

When Google announced that their online phone store was going to the wayside, everyone’s immediate thought wasn’t about the store itself, but more about the device it was selling: the Nexus One. We had always heard Google say that they would be selling the device outside of their store, and when the store closed its doors they again said that carriers around the world would be selling the stock Android device. While that panned out, it didn’t show up in as many places as people would like (like at T-Mobile USA). But, if you’re still interested in buying it, you can, right from Google.

android-3-0

That’s right. Apparently someone has Android 3.0 running on their Nexus One. Sketchy? Yes. Impossible? Probably. However, part of me wants to believe this photo. Getting updates from your wireless carrier can be a bit of a pain, as all Motorola Droid owners know, but Vodafone is hoping to calm of their wireless customers down here next week.

Remember the rumors last week detailing a new FRF 72 Froyo update available on some Nexus One handsets? Well, it appears that the rumors were dead on and the build update is now available for download and manual install. You can get it here or here, but to install it you must be currently running the stock FRF 50 Froyo build already. This means you have to have the stock recovery image installed. If you have Cyanogen’s recovery image this will not work!
