The lack of support from everyone involved with this phone has been the focal point of many people losing faith in Samsung. It’ll probable never see Android 2.0+ even though there is a petition going around to make this happen. Regardless, we are hearing word that the OTA to 1.6 has started to arrive on a few Behold ll’s.

The debacle that is the update schedule (or, lack of a schedule, really) for the Samsung Behold II is something that we covered just a few weeks for you. And, while we do admit that it’s not very good news for Behold II owners out there that were expecting to get Android 2.x, we do have to say that at least they’re getting an upgrade at all. After all, considering the Samsung Moment probably did world’s better sales wise for Sprint than the Behold II did for T-Mobile, it wouldn’t have surprised us if they just looked over the Behold II completely.

A new over-the-air (OTA) update has begun to roll out for T-Mobile users sporting either a Motorola Cliq or Samsung Behold II. Unfortunately, neither of these handsets are going to be sporting OS 2.1 after this update, but there are some nice features regardless.

So yesterday was the day the Samsung Behold 2 came out to the general public, woohoo! But, what happened? T-mobile sure didn’t do anything exciting about it. I guess they knew that the $229.99 sticker price on it was a little too high.

T-Mobile have recently gone official with the Samsung Behold II handset, going for $449.99 or $20.50 per month outright, once it hits the stores on November 18th . There’s also the option of a $229.99 2 year contract, if you’re not afraid of commitments this early on.

The guys over a tmonews.com have managed to get their hands on an pricing sheet for T-Mobile’s upcoming Samsung Behold II Android phone.
According to the leaked info, the Samsung Behold II will be available on T-Mobile priced at $199.99 as part of a 2 year service contract with the network.

T-Mobile have announced yet another Android powered handset that will be available on the network later this year.
The Samsung Behold II will be the first Samsung Android phone to launch across the United States, and will feature along T-Mobile’s other Android handsets including the T-Mobile G1 , MyTouch 3G and the soon-to-be-released Motorola Cliq.
