Telus, one of the leading Canadian telecom giants, has made an official announcement that they will soon be including the Motorola Milestone in their mobile device lineup. Looks like the Canucks will finally get their first device with 480×854 resolution.

The Droid-ish Milestone features an ultra-thin 13.7 mm design, 3.7-inch widescreen displau, pinch-zoom, a 5 megapixel flash-enabled camera, and turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

A concrete launch date hasn’t been released yet, but Motorola’s currently taking signups here for product updates.

While Rogers seems content with the lower priced and older Android handsets, Telus on the other hand will soon begin offering the HTC Hero. And on top of that, they will be the exclusive carrier for the HTC Hero.
