There was a bit of excitement around the web earlier after what appeared to be a leaked version of the TweetDeck Android beta had emerged. TweetDeck was quick to fire back, posting that the leaked build was old and that the official beta would be released tomorrow. Expect a full review here in a few days after we have had a chance to toy around with it, but you can check out a preview from TechCrunch for the time being.

Twidroid will now be known as Twidroyd. Why? Because TweetUp Incorporated just bought them. And, if that’s not enough, they’re actually trying to shy away from any licensing issues that may come up from Lucas Films, considering that whole “droid” part in there. The company said that Twidroyd will become standard on millions of upcoming Android phones from five different manufacturers.

Seesmic’s Android Twitter client just got an update. New in Version 1.1 are:
* Searches: Full search support, including searching for Tweets, trending topics, create save and delete searches.
* Share: Share links, photos or videos through Seesmic. Share something “via Seesmic” and a new tweet will be created with your content.
* Lists: View and manage your Twitter lists, including adding new lists and unfollowing others.

Yfrog has recently announced the availability of a new app for Android users. Basically, the app will allow for quick image and video uploads for Twitter users. But in addition, the app will also allow you to view tweets and search Yfrog as well as view your followers and any messages or mentions.
